advanced media info? (1 Viewer)

Hi guys

First of all i want to thank you for your fantastic job making this fine plugin.

But i have a request, dont know if it is relevant for anyone other than me, but here comes.

I thought it would be nice if, when a movie is selected, with all the info about the movie, a box comes up with the non-standard movie info ex:

resolution 1200 x 720
Subs: Nor, Dan, Eng, GER etc.
Audio: DTS 1500KB, DD ...


Just to clarify, this is not info from IMDB, this is the actually moviefile info im searching for

It could just be an addon, just an option in mp moving pictures config.
I dont know if that info should be manually feed into the plugin, or if it could be done automatically by a script.
Currently i am using "mediainfo" a program, to grab the info right out of the mkv file, and then make a txt file with the info.

But it would be great if it could be shown in MP .

Hope it isent too much to ask.

I'm anxious to get my hands on this feature as well and was considering grabbing the latest source from svn to build. However, depending on how imminent the new release is, would it just make sense to wait? Will I be giving myself extra headaches trying to deal with bugs that will hinder MP, or is the latest build *mostly* complete. I looked in the bug tracker and the main thing I was looking for (well besides the video resolution info) - genre filtering - hasn't had an update since 6/2 so I'm not sure how far along that feature is. Any advice would be great.

I was not aware that there was such a thing as a tracker, nor did i know about that google forum.

But thanks for pointing that out. I look forward to try it when it is released
