With a little registry hacking, tuner priority could be easily adjusted in MCE.
I could setup my dual tuner to default to tunerA for live watching and default to tunerB for recording (TV3 can only set one priority).
This seems odd but it allowed me to handle my tuners quite nicely. I have an HD and an SD tuner subscribed with the same channels (except the HD has HD channels). I don't setup the HD channels from TV3 (since the SD box can't receive them and I use Schedule Direct to auto setup chaannels).
I'd like to setup the SD for the priority for recording so that if only one show is recording the HD tuner is still available for me to watch the channels directly (Not through MP).
I'd like to setup the HD for the priority for watching so that if I'm watching a show in MP it's on the HD. That way if a recording starts it uses the SD and I have the HD still available to play with outside MP if desired.
Sounds kind of odd but it allowed me the to always have the HD option open if only one show was recording in the MCE machine.
