[confirm] after update "TV Setup" crash ! - TvService.exe not upgraded to RC3 (1 Viewer)

2nd try.....

After update from RC2 to RC3 i cant open "Setup TV". (a message appears: setuptv.exe doesnt work, you want send information to microsoft?) something like this.

Mediaportal and "Mediaportal Configuration" work normal. Thats the reason i dont send a log file by my first try to write this threat. sorry for this.

Did you update both?

Set as no bug.

However, if this is a problem with the installer failing to install correctly, feel free to edit or ask me to change this.

Same here, don't think the installer finished properly, now running tv server setup causes an instant crash. It's saying it's version 1.0.7.0 - is that right?

Yep 1.0.7.0 is right version

NB I just attempted to do a fresh install and it doesn't seem to do anything, skips everything.

If you have done a clean install (ie. no version of MP installed previously) then please create a new thread with logs

Also please set your system specs in user config

Its logged in TV.log
Or go to the install Dir of Tv-Server -> select tvservice.exe -> right mouseclick -> properties -> look for the fileversion.

Thanks. Could you attach the logs that will be in the old logs folder inside TV service log folder (these should include the install of TV Server)

I haven't done a clean install. Same as the OP, I attempted to upgrade from 1.1.0RC2 to 1.0.0RC3 and now TV server config crashes. (My system specs are there, aren't they?)
