    Hi.
I've lately encountered some network (internet) traffic between MediaPortal.exe and Akamai Technologies. I don't think this is something bad, but I really want to know what's going on with my internet connection. So could someone please explain what MP did there and why?
    Thanks.

have you tried to disable all plugins and check if MP still tries to connect to akamai?

Yes. And I think I've found the one... It seems as if this comes from Weater Plugin. Everytime before Akamai was contacted weater.com was also. But I'm not sure. Maybe something from weater.com itself.

Since Akamai is responsible for load balancing traffic for thousands of companies it isn't unlikely that weather.com also uses theses services.
