I'm having some trouble with the Albumartist-view. A lot of my albums are listed under "Various Artists" even though the they're not tagged as "Various Artists". I've included one example.

This is because you have set the "Treat tracks in an individual folder as album".
if this is the case AND the Artist tag of songs have a different value AND albumartist is empty OR not unique.

But the album you showed us above should be listed as "Soundtrack" in te album artist view

Removed "Treat tracks in an individual folder as album". Albums tagged with "album artist"="Various artists" looks right, but of my 13 albums tagged with "album artist"=soundtrack only 2 show up as Soundtrack.

My album artist settings are attached.

Problem solved.
Seems like MP doesn't use the "Band" tag from mp3tag. Everything looks right after tagging my files with Mediamonkey instead.

Hi,

a simple question. How can I stop switching between "artist" picture and "album"?
I have all files in one folder (so no album-folders)
since MP 1.0 final deleting album tag does not work because now artist and "grey background" (I use monochrome skin) alternate, so there is still a change... As far as I can remind me, in RC2 there was no switching if album tag was empty.
Anyway, I want a constant picture... if I read a book and every, say, 3seconds changes something on the monitor thats beside me....
Any ideas? I do not understand all the options in music/ database config... for suggestions
