I've just moved from 1.0 final to SVN 21864. Previously when updating, I could set my timeshift/recording folders in TV server by browsing the first one & then using copy/paste to set the others.

Now, because of this change - 0001908: [TV-Server Config (SetupTv.exe)] Make recording folder read only to "force" use of Browse for folder (chemelli) - closed., I have to browse 14 times to set the timeshift/recording paths for my seven tuners.

I understand the reason for the change, so could a checkbox be added to the recording folders page, that would allow to state that the folders set on the first card should be used for all cards, and then grey out the fields on the rest?

As a quick workaround you can use copy & paste to set those folders much quicker than by browsing.

    Removed from SVN thread

    Tourettes,

I got a PM from you, saying that my post regarding this issue was removed from the SVN thread, because it was not SVN related.

I'm not trying to be argumentative, but I would like to know for future bug reports, how is this not SVN related?

The change in the way the interface prevents copy/paste, was done in the first public SVN after 1.0, & has been like that in every SVN since then I assume, because it's still like that in 21864. I never tried any of the other SVNs (post 1.0) until this one, & I figured there's no point in reporting in the old SVN thread, where the code was first changed, as the developers have moved on from that one.
