Currently, the Mediaportal settings provide the user with two options:

1. Select "show subtitles" in which case the subtitle of the user's choice is displayed by default.

2. Do not select "show subtitles" in which case subtitles are disabled and cannot be enabled from Mediaportal.

I would like an option to enable the use of subtitles, but disable them by default. This is currently possible with Media Player Classic using Haali Media Splitter. In fact Haali Media Splitter's settings handle subtitle selection. Haali can either disable subtitles by default (*,off), disable subtitles for a specific language (eng, off) or specify the subtitle language to be used per language (eng, ger;fre, spa). Thus, my feature request could be implementing merely by respecting Haali Media Splitter's settings.

The majority of my movie collection has English audio. So, I either have to enable subtitles by default and disable them for each movie I watch, or disable them by default, and watch foreign movies outside of Mediaportal. I suspect many others are similarly situated.

- Feature Added in 1.1.0 Alpha Release. Thanks!
