Analog audio problem (1 Viewer)

I need help with this issue.

In Windows XP everything works perfect. All audio streams are decoded fine. The problem starts when I use Vista. (I need to use Vista because not all buttons will work on the Microsoft MCE Remote Keyboard in XP).

Now, in Vista, If I play a Video TS folder in Power DVD8, all audio streams play OK: DD, DTS, Analog PCM. But I haven't been able to make it work in MP. Sometimes I can get the DD audio to play, but never the analog PCM, never. It doesn't matter what settings I use.

It seems there are a lot of options to set and I can't simply make it work.

Again, it works fine in XP and in Power DVD in Vista. I've even copied the settings from XP to Vista to no avail. The same Audio Card: Xonar D2/PM (ASUSTeK Computer Inc.) in both systems.

Can someone please help me with this issue?

Willy.

I've asked this question twice now (last month and this month) and nobody has replied. I've been struggling with this issue trying to get analog audio in Vista from MP with no success. As I said before, it works fine in XP and in Power DVD on Vista. MP can't get analog audio from VideoTS.

I need to use Vista because not all buttons will work on the Microsoft MCE Remote Keyboard in XP. It works as a normal keyboard but the transport buttons or the mouse or click or right click or OK button do not work.

Can someone, please, share a light here?

Thanks in advance.
Willy.

What options

What options do you have under DVD and Video on your system
What happens if you change he Navigator, Video and Audio codecs to be the Cyberlink ones ?

I've tried all combination possible. I thought that copying the settings from XP would work, but it didn't. I haven't tried to change everything to Cyberlink. I will try that and get back here.

Thanks.

On my Vista system, I use (MS) DVD Navigator + PDVD7 codec + FFDShow audio codec.

If you need more help, you need to list out your system specs and the codecs you've tried - I think that's mainly the reason people haven't responded, you're not providing enough information.

    Hi.

With this setting I can get Analog Audio but not Digital:
    CYBERLINK DVD NAVIGATOR
    CYBERLINK VIDEO/SP DECODER
    CYBERLINK AUDIO DECODER
    DEFAULT DIRECT SOUND

Wilth this one I can get Digital audio but not analog:'
    CYBERLINK DVD NAVIGATOR
    CYBERLINK VIDEO/SP DECODER
    MPC-MPA DECODER FILTER
    DEFAULT DIRECT SOUND

No matter what combination I use I can't get both streams to work at the same time.

Glad it is working, but why do you want both ?
I use just digital going off to my Amp to do all the decoding.

I didn't want both, the thing was that out of the box MP wasn't decoding PCM and DD only one or the other.
I have many DVDs with PCM content as well as DD and DTS.
