Hi all, i'm working on my htpc and now i need to change my tv-card (asus P7131 Hybrid).

I'm looking for a tv card that let me view a channel anr record another one. I need to do this both in digital and analogue format.

It's better to choose
1 dual DVB-t (cinergy 2400i, ....) + 1 dual analogue with Hw encodicng (?????)
or
1 dual hybrid (pinnacle 3010 is ok?)

I need help to choose the better solution and the cards needed.

thank you

MC :D

The new ATi TV Wonder 650 has a digital tuner, an analog tuner and an FM tuner. Two of these cards would offer 2 of each turner.

This is a brand new card/chipset so there isn't a lot of info about it yet and I haven't completed my setup... but tests I've made so far have gone well.
I have the NTSC/ATSC version and the DVB-T version may or may not work as well.

so before I'm gonna buy all my upgrades, if I understand correctly it is possible to use a hauppauge PVR500MCE together with a FloppyDTV DVB-C card, am I right? And does this need custom tweaking or is it relatively simple to make it work?

    Should work fine.

Both are well supported, so i can't see any problems using them together.

    Ok, great!
I thought I'd better ask since I never worked with a Analog/Digital combination before. :)
