Topic says it all, I guess.

Would be nice if people who uses iPIMP @ Android would write some words regarding how well it works etc (counting from ver, 4.2.0 and onwards).
    :D

I'm using iPimp on my Android HTC Desire and really works well. I just have problems with moving pictures but that's a problem on the serverside. With the Archos you may have problems with the different screen resolution. Should be working anyway.

I´m on Desire too and int works great.
I wonder if Live-Tv streaming would be easier to implement for Android and if cheezey won´t do it (possibly due to the lack of an android device) if someone else can realise it.

In fact I think it will be harder on Android. iPhone OS supports http streaming which is nice and friendly for streaming outside your LAN, from what I can discover Android only supports streaming over RTSP. My approach to live TV is to use smmoth streaming which is designed to change bitrates depending on your network connection (wifi, 3G, Edge etc.) This will work for iPhone, flash or silverlight clients. All we need is Android to support one of those :)

I'm concious that iPiMP is being used by more than just iPhone users and am trying to make all new features available for these other platforms too.

So it shouldn't be a problem getting it working with WP7 when that comes out then?

Ah - there is still the requirement for a webkit based browser, so you'd need to find one of those which would run on WP7 (I'm assuming WP7 will come with some version of IE).

What I meant is that we have a MP2 plugin called UPnP Render that can play media from DLNA servers if I remember correctly. I don't know the current state of the plugin though. That's why MP2 probably never will be certified. ;) Yes, that was also the idea, but it is a big job as all TV's, software etc. seems to not do everything...

P.S. - Strangely, the TV Server my single seat setup (1.27 on a modest machine running Windows 10 Pro x64) is working from my office machine MP client. Same exact network, firewall, Defender settings. It's a slightly older version of Win 10 though - I haven't updated to 20Hx on it yet. Maybe I shouldn't (or maybe I should image it...

Hi, must be really a while, cuz I can not remember any post from you ;) But might be also that I joined the team too late. Yes, there will be many things. Main reason is simply, that MP2 is not developed based on MP1. I for example never used MP1. I tried it lately to test voice control and was shocked about many inconsistancies in...

That's fun. I shattered my kneecap on one of those e-scooters. I'm terribly out of shape from the months of being bedridden. I didn't get fat, at least, but a walk in the park is not an expression of something being easy anymore.

Hi, i don't know if this is the right place to post this, but here we go... In the last couple of months i felt the urge to switch away from Mediaportal.
