Announcement: TV Recordings v0.2 (1 Viewer)

The "TV Recordings" plugin is a GUI for managing manual recordings. It aims to be more convenient
replacement for the manual recordings functionality which is part of the "My TV" GUI.

* Improved GUI for scheduling new recordings including the ability to give a scheduled recording a title
* Overview over the status of scheduled and finished recordings
* Detailed information for each recording
* "Play", "Delete" or "Rename" recordings
* Self descriptive GUI
* Support for the TV Server (TV3)

* Added support for the TV Server (TV3)
* Added support for the TV Scheduler: Recording suggestions which are based on the rules defined in TV Scheduler are presented.
* Added german translation. Additional languages can be easily added by a file

* Made it possible to give a scheduled recording a title. This is useful in case that there is no EPG data available.
* Recording quality might be defined for scheduled recordings
* Introduced a status page where the latest recording, the next schedule and the available disk space is shown

No, not yet. But this is planned as one of the next features.

That would be great, think of the power that would give! The new scheduling software he is developing is a master piece and with the right GUI it would be a worthy replacement for the existing engine...

yes, I have contacted him and I decided to build a prototype for a TvScheduler <-> TvRecordings GUI integration. It's nearly finished so hope to publish it soon on this place.
