Annoying channelchanging delays... (1 Viewer)

When you stumble upon a channel that's either got no broadcasting or is scrambled....
Why the wait for approx 30 sec to tell me that? There must be some setting that can change this!
This is by far the most annoying issue I've got with MP. There is no way I can get the rest of my
family to put up with this behaviour....
Zapping between channels becomes extremely painful!
Anyone who's got a solution?

Try this at your own risk, revert the settings if you have any issues.

TVServer config\General settings\Timeshifting, change the two wait parameters to "1", now under manual control, stop and then restart tvservice



You should now find off air channels will say so in 5-7 seconds, instead of the 30

Is there a way to use timeshift on demand ( only when I want it ) ?
