Another BasicHome mockup (2 Viewers)

I started out doing a MAC rip but it evolved into this some how.
I think I like it, but to code it might be a bit harder than a mockup.
I guess it's off to steal some code from the pros.

Ya the floating menu could be better but I am limited to Paint Shop Pro as an amateur.

As far as the top left, I have run my task bar in Winblows at the top since Win98 after using Mandrake for awhile with the menu at the top I got pretty use to it there. So that layout seems very familiar to me.

To each his own and I do appreciate the feedback!

it's not the layout, i like the top left corner layout, it's good. i think the graphics are not good and don't match.

Did a bit of rework trying to keep in mind what you are saying. I think?

looks much much better. the curved edge around the weather needs either a bezel or a fade or something, because it looks unfinished.

the bit with the title "my videos" / temp, should maybe be a different texture to the bar above. or the bezel between the rss and the title bar should be different to the bezel below the title bar.
