Have set up Power scheduler in TV server mangement console using default settings and suspend and wakeup with various events. (exactly how I set it up under 0.2.3.0)
I run a windows schedule to do an epg job early morning but since RC1 it wakes up for the job but goes back to sleep after almost exact:D ly 2 min (I have no idle time out of 30 min)

Has there been a config change since 0.2.3?

Try updating to latest svn, there were some path issues on first release, with settings not being correctly saved, disabling and reconfiguring should solve this, well it did for me :)

I think that is a vista issue, I have seen it mentioned in other places (not PM related). in some cases vista (or is it all windows?) will go back to sleep after 2 minutes, something about it doesn't know why it was woken I think, anyway, go looking for a windows fix.

The latest SVN, disabling and then re enabling the Power scheduler scheduler did the trick

    :D

    Don't know where to post:
The Server goes after 15min in Standby, when I'm watching TV it does not. OK.
But when I play a Recording or Movie from a shared folder on the Server it suspends after 15min too.
Is it possible to prevent the Standby when a Client is connected?

Bother. Worked twice and then back to the old trick of going to sleep after 2 minutes again.

    It always worked under 0.2.3.0

    :-(

just out of interest, do you have a screensaver and what time is it set to come on...
    is it exactly two minutes?

I do have a screen saver but it is set to 10 min
I did not have this issue before RC1 / Vista sp1 (all about the same time)
The machine always did the task the timer asked it too

wow odd, sorry Steve, i have no idea, i guess i would try and work out if the issue was vista wide or mp specific.
can you set a wakeup task in task scheduler and see if it still goes back to sleep? thus seperating the event out of mp.
