I have had some more failures since last posting when resuming from S3 standby.
Both times when resuming from standby I have been greeted with a black screen bar the blue XP menu bar with MediaPortal - Home tab but nothing else. I have gathered logs in this state and then end tasked mediaportal.exe.

Odd thing is that as soon as I have ended task explorer then goes to the entering standby screen and PC goes to standby immediately.

The thing that stands out from log today is
    Code:
"09/12/2008 05:07:50";"Win32k";"(0)";"Warning";"A request to suspend power was denied by TvService.exe.";"2147483888"
"09/12/2008 18:26:57";"PlugPlayManager";"(0)";"Warning";"Timed out sending notification of device interface change to window of "C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\MediaPortal.exe"";"2147483904"
"09/12/2008 18:26:57";"PlugPlayManager";"(0)";"Warning";"Timed out sending notification of device interface change to window of "C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\MediaPortal.exe"";"2147483904"

EPG is set to update at 5am so this looks ok and PC came out of standby just before 5am to update EPG and then ended up back in S3 standby. Coming home at 18:26 however everything is dead.

Yesterday was slightly wiered (can't quite remember what happended now) but I think machine was not actually in standby when I got home but I still had the black screen with menu bar once I turned screen on. Ending task put machine into standby. I think I then started MP again and it went into standby again straight away.

Seems like MP is storing too many standby requests ??
