Antec Fusion with IR Server Suite (1 Viewer)

Hi,
I'm just re-installing my HTPC from scratch using MP v1 RC1 on an Antec Fusion v2 with LCD and although I've had a good search round I can't find a definitive list of instructions on how to get the inbuilt IR to work with MP with the new IR Server Suite. I can find old instructions on getting it to work but from what I'm reading the IRSS should make some of this redundant (for example the MCE replacement driver), I also can't find decent how-to doc on the IRSS (I've found the html doc but that seems to just explain the various parts of it...not how to install it!).

Now I could adopt the original suck and see approach but I would prefer a nice list of 'do this' instructions so the install is as clean as possible!

Any help or pointers gratefully received!

Phil

I just set up my fusion 430 black last night with dust_ag's instructions on post 55 of https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/support-123/antec-fusion-v2-ir-how-use-w-mediaportal-28783/index6.html#post205696

Those instructions do not use the IR suite, and I tried using the IR suite once before but it seemed overly complex for something as simple as what I wanted to do.

Issues I'm having in vista32bit;
-The LCD does not work
-The response time of the computer is slow, HOWEVER it responds to every button I press. Thus, I might press the down arrow 20 times and the up arrow 5 times, but it takes about 10 seconds to do all that scrolling. I can't figure out if this is a limitation of my Harmony remote, of the iMON/soundgraph software, or of Media Portal. I'm thinking it's mdia portal because when I had Vista Media Center installed the response of the software was good, except it was a resource hog and I was always waiting on cover art to load.

Good luck and tell me what you did to get everything working!!!!
