Any way to make PowerDVD 10 play blu ray disc from inside MP? (1 Viewer)

I have Moving Pictures, but I don't like the idea of having to import a disc so it can play, and then the only way to remove it from movies list is to say to ignore it in the future. So if at some point in the future I reinsert the disc, then I have to select 'UnIgnore' and re-import, which is kind of a pain.

I really just want to be able to insert a physical blu ray disc and play it from Media Portal, like you can do with WMC and PowerDVD MCE plugin.

I found this plugin, but it seems a little old:
HDStarter - Blu-Ray/HD-DVD Player with PowerDVD - MEDIAPORTAL

Does anyone know if this works with the latest version of MP and PowerDVD 10? Thanks in advance!

    It should work.

I just use MultiShortCut, which pretty much does the same thing (in fact, I think the plugin you mention is created from MultiShortCut) - MultiShortcut - MediaPortal Forum

The other alternative is to use Blueray Handler, which won't play the menus, but will allow you to play the feature streams directly from the disc - https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/mediaportal-plugins-47/bluray-handler-0-9-7-beta-81068/

If you are happy to use PowerDVD as an external player (and can configure your remote to control it), then you can edit the advance options within the Moving Pictures plugin to use PowerDVD very easily (make sure you select the option to add movies from removable media, so that your discs show up in your list of movies). Selecting the movie will run PDVD automatically and when you then quit PDVD the system returns to MP automatically. It will even change the refreshrate using the MP refresh rate changer for you.

    I hope this helps
