Anyone actually got a SVN build to work? (1 Viewer)

Ive tried numerous SVN builds, I havent got one yet that runs > 5 minutes.

Different errors, different crashes but all related to viewing TV from my TVServer (backend).

Being fairly new to MediaPortal, is this "normal"?

(going back to 0.2.3.0 release always fixes it)

Well, some SVN's may introduce new problems, but in general they work fine. Been using SVN for a long time - probably installed about 100... Only 4 or 5 after 0.2.3.0, though....

Mine is very stable, but I do not intall SVN more than once a week.
I installed 023, after that SVN 1 Dec, after that SVN 9 Dec.

The following functions are used very intensively:
View EPG
Recordings (tvserver)
Recording playback
Videos
Music
Pictures - slideshow

Live TV is used only two or three hours per week. Mostly when there is good sport on TV and something else that I also want to watch. LCD TV have a split view: LCD tuner on the left with program A, MP tuner on the right with program B.

Like I said - very stable.

Your best bet is to start supplying more detail and logs. Search around , this forum has LOTS of usefull tips and information. If you cant find anything, one of the experts can pick up something from your logs.
