Anyone have a Dvico Fusion5 HDTV (ATSC - USA) card working? (1 Viewer)

Does anyone have the dvico fusion5 hdtv atsc - usa working? I get no sound or audio - I have tried every codec I have, bda, non bda, non dvico, renderless, windowless, overlay.. you name it I have tried it.. no luck.. Interesting though.. when I do an autotune, you can hear audio when it hits a channel.. it also finds them all.. any thoughts?

note: with the original .1.3.0 release I could at least "turn tv on" - black screen and no audio.. with the latest cvs release, I cant even turn tv on

This line suggests that MPSA.ax is not registered - did you run "start.bat" after you installed this CVS version?

I don't know if this is relevant, but if you look at lines like this in your log file:-

It looks like you don't have any frequency data for your scanned channels. Did Autotune capture this data correctly? If you check in the Channels section of MP Configuration, does it show the correct frequency and PID numbers for your channels?

Thanks for the reply taipan - all the channels are picked up by autotune.. wonder how you find the frequency and if it is even needed..

I will see if I can get some of that info from the dvico software

any luck? I have divco gold t card that i wish usa atsc would work with media portal.

no luck yet.. it will auto tune fine... but tv wont work.. I am trying to go back to .0.1.3pre or .0.1.2 with the last cvs - cand find either

Works Now!!!!! - Sort of

update.. I could not find .1.3.0 pre or .1.2.0 with the latest cvs build.. so I scrubbed the system and installed .1.3.0 with the latest cvs build.. 8-24 and now it works!! sort of.. regular tv works fine - but timeshifting / recording does not work.. I think its a known issue though that will be fixed in .2.0.0

plus.. there is no more jitter and cpu utilazation is only 50% with a 1080i HDTV program

I just got a Dvico HDTV5 gold today and was hoping to just slap it in, do a little configuration, and BAM...watch some TV while on the VPN to work. But it's a no-go. Hell, the Dvico software crashes when searching for channels.

I haven't done anything to the PC except install windows xp sp2, dx9, Theatertek, ***, and media portal. I d/l the latest cvs build of mp and still can't tune any channels. should I just blow it all away and start from scratch?

any help is appreciated.

the htpc specs are:
Abit AI7
P4 3Ghz
512mb dual channle ddr
40gb drive (boot and programs)
120gb drive (storage for PVR and dvd iso's)
Ati 9600xt w/DVI>RGBHV
Dvico Fusion HDTV5 Gold
Sony 53HS10 HDTV monitor (native res is 1920x1080i)
