Anyone running a TBS620 dual tuner card with Windows 8.1? BSOD? (2 Viewers)

I have this very annyoing problem where unless I activate the TV, immediatly after a reboot, the PC will give me the BSOD.

For example, If I were to boot, then immediatly use IE, it would within say 10 - 15mins, give me the BSOD

However, If I were to reboot, watch TV using MP for just 1 second,exit and use the PC anyway I want, all would be fine.

Im running the latest TBS drivers, and dont belive this is anything to do with MP; its as if the TV needs to be 'activated' immediatly upon each reboot.

Honestly I wouldn't jump to conclusions. Especially if you have DVB EPG grabbing enabled. See this thread for an example (ignore the title):

Thanks for that. I suppose a good way to start investigating wodul be to kill mediaportal and TV server, immediatly after boot, and see what happens from there.

NB just realised the title should read 'TBS6280' tuner.

If anyone else out there has the same problem, please post

Yep, either that or disable the DVB EPG grabber.
