Does anyone get Webepg data from Oztivo in Australia in MP 1.0.2??
ozTiVo.net have decomissioned their "xmlGuide.pl" XMLTV interface so the selection AU\6-minnie_tuhs_org.xml in WebEPG-conf doesn't grab any epg data.
I can get epg data from ABC, Yahoo or SBS, but also need to get epg data from Oztivo.
The following log is from a test system with only SBS defined.

Thanks tasty for your comments. It made me look beyond the standard WebEPG. I checked out Big Kev, but his solution is designed for MP1.1 and has issues with MP1.0.2 which I am using.

Finally I settled on a VBS solution - MEDIAPORTAL - free media center - GetOzTvGuide

Whilst it is not the most user friendly (it doesnt have a graphical front end) , this solution provides the most flexibility. Best of all, it works with MP1.0.2.

i abandoned oztivo a while back as i could never rely on the data.
i now use WebEPG which scraps yahoo7 and it never fails.
i just had to mofify the grabber file for the channels in my area

    Thanks for the reply aidbish.
Can you reply with a copy of your xml grabber file so I can compare with the standard one. I am not sure about the "siteid" numbers.

Thanks airbish, your tips were perfect.

I have been using the yahoo grabber since your last post.

The yahoo grabber is good because it contains more channels than oztivo. One thing I find though is that the yahoo guide sometimes changes the name of the program because they append the rating to the end of the program name. For example something like "News - G" on another day may be "News - M" so MP doesnt know to record it because I have selected "record this program each time on this channel" rather than "record at this time each week".

I found that if I use the "record at this time each week" option and the epg program time changes a few minutes at some time in the future, then MP records the program as "Manual" without any information. This has also been reported for later versions of MP. I use 1.0.2.

I think I am satisfied with the Yahoo grabber - realising that no grabber is perfect.

I will try to enclose the grabber I use for Wollongong.

    Hi A1800ute
I dont use a web EPG any longer as the ones I had been using all stopped one by one. I take the EPG from the TV signal and that gives about 1 week of programs.
