I found an interesting TV tuner, TUNER PROLINK Play TV MCE , code PVM2T307PL with HW MPEG2 encoding.
Does anyone knows if it is working in Media Portal? It claims to be compatible with Windows Media Center.

Please give me any advise or suggestion.

I'd like to ask, if I follow the instructions from your link, can I get the card to work in Media portal right away? I don't want to spend the money on a card and then to wait I don't know how long till the support for the card will be implemented in MP.
If I edit the cards configuration XML, can MP recognize the card?

It won't take long to get the update required for it to work

I understand it can't take too long for developers to inegrate this into app, but I'm wordering how long could take for me (as an end user) to get an update of the app (a stabile release I can install, like ver 0.2.0.5, etc)

Is there a way to get a version available quicker than a new release?

I see the ver 0.2.0.4 is out for quite some time and heard nothing about an updates release.
