    Hello,

I am a mediaportal user now for 1 month.

Everything works oke, but watching television is not so smooth.

I have tried a couple of things.

The first thing was the solution from mediaportal with the MDAPI and the splug file. That resulted in a zap time of 30/40 seconds, so that was not a good solution.

The second solution I have tried was with DVB link TV source. That works much better, but even not perfect.

    zaptimes are still 6/7 seconds.

What is on this moment the best way to watch television in mediaportal with an Anysee E30 with Ziggo cable? (Holland)

    My system:

    Moneual 932 with 7" touchscreen
    Intel E7300
    4GB DDR2
    ASUS HD5770, 1GB
    Samsung spinpoint F3 1TB
    Anysee E30C Plus
    Windows 7 ultimate 32bit
    Mediaportal 1.2 Alpha
    Skin: StreamedMP
Codecs: Newest SAF, but for television are the windows codecs for me the most stable and fast.

Excuse me for my bad English. If dutch people read this, the can post back in Dutch.

    Best regards!

    Hi Powermarcel,

The Anysee devices use softcam decrypting which isn't supported by Mediaportal, due to legal issues (the free which you have to pay for Irdeto2).

I'm a Anysee user too, and I'm still waiting for a descent piece of hardware, which will succeed the FloppyDTV from Digitaleverywhere.

For the Anysee I'd recommend WMC7 which works great as for the TV concerned.

Hope a good Ziggo solution will follow soon!

    Frank
