Apikey problems (1 Viewer)

Hi Guys,

I seem to be getting some issues connecting to the TVDB, using MP-TVSeries currently. Everytime I try to import any files, it keeps pulling up the following error:

Can't connect to http://thetvdb.com/api/<apikey>/mirrors.xml : The operation has timed out

Warning: No mirrors received, nothing will be downloaded!

However, if I use the apikey I have (from back when I was checking out the source so that I could compile it and submit some changes to MP-TVSeries, a while back), I can get a list of the mirros by manually going to the URL using my apikey.

I'm not sure if the apikey has been revoked, or isn't being put into there correctly at the moment or not, and I am running 2.3.3589.

Any help is appreciated guys!

I can only tell u that the key is not revoked.

Also you get a time out, and not a 404 or invalid xml as would be the case with a wrong/revoked key.

So it would seem like something is blocking mp-tvseries on your end, any firewalls or something of the kind?

I'm guessing it could be related to the network situation here, will see if I can get it on another network, as it was working from home yesterday.

It does certainly seem to be something to do with the corporate network here, which is a bit of a shame, but a quick tunneling through a box outside of that network appears to be giving me access again.

However, that only works for the first stage, the bit where it is actually looking for the series is going to be a slightly harder matter, but I can solve that too I hope. On the topic of which, is there anyway to setup proxying for the mp-tvseries / mediaportal as a whole as I think that would get around it.
