Appearance of DVB subtitles in MP (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I'm using MP Final and TVServer.
I also frequently activate the DVB Subtitles option within MP. Currently, the subs are always displayed on black background overlayed on the screen.
I was wondering wether it wouldn't be possible to present the subs in the classical white transparant style. I suppose you would loose the color coding used by the broadcaster to indicate different actors, but I could live with that.

Any ideas if this would be possible to implement as an option?

Everything that is possible for a bitmap can be done for the DVB bitmap subtitles. I have no plans to do any code changes in that area, but if someone sends a good patch I'll promise to review and think about adding it into 1.0.2.
