Are the default short cuts used on MP standard short cuts or are they only used on MP? So can I find them in other media centers, also?

Sorry for accidentally using the wrong forum, guess, I cannot delete this post.

Hello and many thanks.

I am wondering, whether I should get used to the default short cuts on MP, because if these short cuts are standard in all the other Media Centers, video players, music players etc. it would be easy to control these other programs with the already known short cuts. So I wouldn' t have to create always new ones.

It uses the same HID commands as all the other media centers, play / pause / ffwd / rrwd / stop / back / vol / mute / 'ok/select'

    Thanks.

Okay, so for example F5 is rewind and F6 is fast forward, + is increase volume, up button is step backward (and so on) in MP and in all the other programs / media centers etc. mentioned it is the same.

Many thanks for the screen shot.

Now I understand, didn't know what HID means, the multi media buttons of a keyboard (if available) control the same action in any program,

    Thanks again.
