Hello all,

I'm trying to make it so that when navigating through my music that I see an album cover for each artist. My music is set up like this Music - Artist - Album. I did a search and saw something on this but I wasn't sure if it is the only way for it to be done. Simply drop an album cover in each artist folder and name is folder.jpg.

Could this maybe be a feature for MPTagThat? Like for instance maybe choose a file that you tagged and right click it and choose "Use as Artist Folder Cover"?

Maybe I am over thinking this whole thing and there is a much easier way to do this.

Thanks

Well, i do that already for the album itsef. You can save an existing picture from the context menu, or even automatically on save, as a folder.jpg.

So you want an additional context menu entry, which saves the picture in the selected file, in the Parent folder of the currently selected folder, which is in your case the artist. Right?

Yes that sounds about right. And again, I am not sure how everyone else organizes there folders so if it is something that few people other than myself do, then it's really no big deal. It would just things that much simpler for creating a more complete music collection when browsing through mediaportal.

Anyways, thank you for your response and this project is really cool!
