Sorry,

i think this is a stupid Question and i know the Answer, but i want it bulletproof.

Following Scenario: I have a really good Stereo-Amplifier and i have my Music on my Mediaportal-PC.

Now i want to hear my FLAC-Files with them.

I read a while and gather that the integrated Windows Mixer does horrible Things with my Music.

Now comes the Question: Is the PureAudio-Plugin the right Way to encounter the Windows Mixer and give it "BitPerfect" to my ESI Juli@ ( ESI - Juli@ )and from there via Analog-Chinch to my Amp, or is the whole ASIO-Thing only for SPDIF?

I would be very pleased if anyone could give an correct Answer.

Hope it would work like expected. But i think it will not...

Best regards

PureAudio plugin is indeed the right way, but only when used with ASIO drivers. I see you have the right kind of audiodevice, so yep: you got yourself bitperfect playback :)
