I have installed the TV server, but each time I access my TV I get asked to enter server/IP-adress. When I have entered it, it says connected to TV server, and I have to do it a couple of times to get it to work. How can I fix that?
at first it would be interesting to know if the tv-server is installed on the same PC.
and do you use SQL express or MySQL?
and which version/build of TV-Server and MediaPortal do you use?
Sure. I'm running singleseat, so it's all on the same PC.
I have SQL express and the other maintenance.
I have use the second latest SVN TVserver, because the latest had no tvserver installation. My mediaportal is the newest RC and the SVN from yesterday. Hope this helps
Thanks for the answer. I'm currently running XP and will try tonight.
In the meantime can you tell me if the TV server supports DVB-C, because I can't seem to find it?
And a little off topic. Can I run a new version of FFDshow or will it give me to much trouble? Hope it's okay

I have just installed Windscribe but it is blocking access to my TV Server. I get the following message "Please specify the IP address or Host Name of the Master TV Service". I have a single seat build running the latest X64 version of MP1. Can anyone point me to a solution please? It's probably a really obvious one.....
