I have aspect ratio problem on some of my servers.
If I connect to the tv-server with VLC everything is correct. But when using MP tv-server client everything is either 4:3 og 16:9.
In other words 16:9 signals get displayed as 4:3 and you have to stretch them, but the biggest problem is 4:3 signals get displayed as 16:9, and there is no way to correct that.
I have this problem on 2 different servers, both twinhan dvb-s, one with pvr 150, and the other with pvr500 from hauppauge. But the problem is regardless of analog or digital signal. And the other hardware on the servers are completely different.
Actually, so far it seems one server (multiseat) is allways 4:3 and the other (single seat) is allways 16:9, regardless of what is being broadcast. Both display correctly in VLC. Changing from .mpg to .ts had no effect.
My third server (single seat) does not have this problem, although if I connect the client on this pc to one of the other servers I get aspect problem.
So it seems it's not a tv-server problem since it works with VLC, and it's not a client problem since the client that works fine on one server doesn't work on the others. It's a combo client/server problem.
