I'm wondering how it's possible to assign numbers to the channels being part of a single group to do something like this:
    > Group1
    - ChannelOne 100
    - ChannelTwo 101
    - ChannelThree 199
    - ChannelFour 201

... and obviously when I've selected Group1 with the EPG I'd like to compose the numer "199" on the number-pad of my remote and reach the ChannelThree.

    Is this possible?
    Thanks!

If the TV channels use LCN's (logical channel numbers), unticking the box in MP config\television, select channel by index, will allow you to use these numbers on your keypad to go straight to those channels.

    In some way it works...
I go under TV channel properties (in TV Server config)...
    TV-Server/Configuration/TVChannels - MediaPortal Manual Documentation
... and I can assign the number I prefer to each channel.
Then, just like suggested by You I untick the box in MP config\television and I can directly access to a channel composing the assigned number on the keypad...
but only inside the same group!:(

I mean that if I compose the number of a channel that is assigned to a group that I'm not inside in that moment, nothing happens. Instead if I enter the group of the desired channel and then I compose the number it works. This workaround is not "group transversal".

Is it so or there are other configs to set?

    Thanks!
    Bye
