I took the plunge & bought a eee B202 from ASUS (190 from PC world - UK). Firstly, let me say it is ace - looks so good & you can't even hear it; even when you place 1 ear against the case!! sweet. On the surface it is fast (dual 1.6 ATOM Intel with 1GIG Memory).
Now; i don't expect the world from it but know i can get more out of it & expect with some optimization, i will get good results.
So my question is to all B202 owners - how have you optimized yours? If any owner could help out - i have the below questions.
I'm on version 1 (server/client deployment).
Any advise is appreciated.

- What Codec has you used (i use PDVD8).
- What time does it take to refresh the guide (8 seconds for me).
- When resolution is it set to(on what display)?
- When playing a video - can you smoothly navigate other videos directories?
- How long does it take to change channels (mine about 7 seconds)?
