Asus MyCinema 7131 (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I've got an HTPC with an ASUS MyCinema 7131 (non Hybrid) TV card, (the only source I've got is analog cable). After installing MP I've tried to configure this card but until now without succes. I've googled around searching for a solution but I found nothing but problems.

Is there somebody who succeeded to run MP with the 7131 tv card?

Asrock m3a785gmh/128M
AMD processor
4GB
Windows 7
microATX case

I have the same problem.....
But , the card work with the EZVCR ( littel product from ASUS) ==> no default of the card or the driver.

Désolé, mais je vais répondre en français, j'esspére que tu comprends...
Avant tout, quel processeur AMD utilises-tu? Parce que pour pouvoir décoder l'analogique, il faut un processeur relativement puissant (3Ghz au moins).

Ensuite, est-ce que ta carte est correctement reconnue par le TVserver ou pas?

I'll react in english The processor I've installd is the AMD Athlon II X2 240 (2,8 Ghz). I guess it's quick enough to decode the analog signal.

Do you use this card in Mediaportal?

Normaly, your processor could decode analogic signal...

My other question is to know if your card is correctly recognize by TVServer. If not, maybe you've just a problem with the codecs... Have you try to install the mediaplayer offert with your card? That solved the problem for me with my ASUS 7135...

Please can you post your TV Server log files. It is very difficult to help you or offer advice without these.
