Hi,

I`m building a HTPC based on barebone Asus Pundit P1-AH2. Its small, very quiet and looks very nice.
My TV card is Asus MyCinema P7131-Hybrid (or DUAL). I instaled this one with bundled software (drivers and Cyberlink PowerCinema v5) and my surprise was huge. All works properly but I want MediaPortal because I like a full control programme and... I love it.
I instaled at last night a latest version of MP. Instalation was without problems. TV card LIVE!:D Scannig of channels was good, all channels were finded correctly. I`m using only analog part in my country. But...
Live TV is in MP bad. Very bad. Picture looks like slide show and synchonization with soud is absolutely broken. CPU works on 100% I tried to change a video decoder but result is allways the same. I don`t understand where is a problem because this TV card in PowerCinema use only 15-20% of CPU. I thought than radio isn`t hard work for CPU but CPU meter shows 50-60%. I know that I don`t have a latest CPU but CPU usage with PowerCinema is a clear proof that type of CPU is no problem.

Do you know somebody where is a problem?
I`m disappointed. I was really happy when MP find a card and analog part alived. But I think this problem is out of my ability...

Thank you for all advices and ideas.:D

I've experienced the same problem, with the same card and a similar configuration (2,8Ghz dual core CPU). I get a lot of dropped frame also using the InterVideo Encoder as recommended in the "tips and tricks" section of MP doc.
In addition, sometimes, switching from a DVB-T channel to an analogue channel I get the message "no signal", usually switching channel again it works.

Hi ilventu!
Thanx for your informations but I do not understad. You replied to my question in a past time. Did you fix it? How? I reinstaled Windows last weekend but result is same. Live TV does not work fine. CPU is still on 90-100%.
Please help me...
