Yes, AFAIK - see ATI Radeon HD 4600 & 4800 series support 7.1 channel HDMI audio! - AVS Forum
Note that any DVI-HDMI adaptor must be the ATi version - generic ones won't enable the HDMI audio (you just get the video).
