Hi,
I just build my own media center and I found MediaPortal on the net. Looks very slick !
My graphic/tuner card ATI AIW X 800 XL is not supported by mp. However, I found out in this forum that it may be possible to have an unsupported card recognised using a few hacks.
I have:
Catalyst 6.8
Mediacenter 9.15

Is there anyways I can have this graphic card working ?
If not, any hope that it will be supported in the near future ?

thanks for your help,
L.

Read the last two pages of the AIW thread sticky at the top of the forum.

If your AIW is capable of both analog and digital reception you will be able to set up MP for both .

Hi thanks for your prompt answer. I forgot to mention that I had already had a look to the forum before before my first post.
I reread carefully all the post. I had catalyst 6.8 at the time of my first post, I have now downgraded to 6.5. I have removed the ATI MMC from my computer.
I did uncomment the region in the xml file that relates to the ATI All-in-wonder. I tried with the default pin value, it didn;t work:
I have the message: "Unable to create graph for this device"
I followed your post #86 and changed the pin from 4=>3. I still have the same message.
I tried to follow the direction on post #87 using graphedit (don;t really understand how to use it) and found that devid is ntativrv01.
I am running out of idea now and would appreciate your help.

    thanks,
    Laurent

The error message you are getting usualy means the filters required are not installed.

This is an ATI installer problem.

Try installing again and then open graphedit and use insert filters and check every filter that is listed in the MP gaph construct is available first.
