Hi!
Since ATI 11.5 drivers, my receiver (connected via HDMI) is not detected as connected anymore, when I do the following:
Precondition: Computer running with AV-Receiver switched off.
Reproduction Steps:
Turn computer to hibernate
Switch on AV-Receiver, while computer off
Resume computer from hibernate
Now, the AMD HDMI-Output device still shows as unconnected in the device manager and audio is not working.
Workaround, is to switch the AV-Receiver now off and on again (while computer running) and then it is correctly displayed as connected and audio is working.
This does not happen for cold boots, only when hibernated.
Seems, that the driver does not check anymore for a newly connected AV Receiver, when resuming from hibernate.
I have tested this fault with the 11.5 and 11.6 driver, which both show the identical behaviour as descibed above. With 11.3 and earlier drivers there is no problem and I didn't try with 11.4, yet.
I just reported to AMD. Does anyone have similiar issues?
Regards,
