Ati hd5450 + denon1911 + pdvd10 (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I have some problems with PDVD10. I have a Deanon 1911 and a ATI HD5450 (latest CCC). The Windows Audio Control Panel is doing 5.1, AVR is configured to 5.1 and PDVD is set to allow non-decoded audio to pass to external device.

Unfortunately I cannot watch any BluRay Disc. For a test I selected a m2ts file on a Disc. That works fine. My Denon recognize a DTS singnal and the sound is great.

If I put a BD in the Dirve PDVD says that it is loading the disc and

- freezes or
- crashes to the desktop.

I already tried to un- and reinstall -> same problem.

I googled the problem but I haven't found a solution yet.

Anyone of you have an idea?

I got an ATI HD5770 + Denon 1911, it worked fine with PDVD 10, maybe because i have AnyDVD HD installed?
But i uninstalled PDVD, and now i’m using SAF5 and Bluray Handler

The problem is solved. Yesterday I installed the new CCC 10.12. Everything woks fine now.

What is the benefit of using SAF5 and Bluray Handler. I will read the SAF thread. Can you use the BD menues? That is something I don't want miss.

No the BD menus won’t work with Bluray Handler, but i think it’s a great way to play BD from inside Mediaportal, and i can live without the menus
