I need a cheap lowprofile card. What about the Mpeg 2 decoding? is that supported in both cards?

That was mainly due to the fact that ati used to build their own cards and their was nobody else using their chipsets. The quality of the tv out is dependend on the quality of the used components.

HI
If i'm only going to use the computer for watching/record tv (using my hauppauge PVR-500), watch DVDs and surf the web.
Why should i get the GeForce N6200 instead of the FX5200?

Thanks

VLC has a browser add-on that allows you to start a video selected in your browser in VLC, you then can use its record button. Doesn't always work though, my guess is it won't on protected vids but it is the only thing I have found other than the excellent download capability of Online Videos when available.

This is not possible, only on the bluray present subtitles can be selected. Same as above. Audio streams can never be selected apart from the merged ones. You'll have to use tools like the mentioned Media-Buddy to achieve that. Subtitles of local media can be placed into the same folder (with the same name) into the video file. You...
