Thanks Radioman :) I'll fiddle with it as well, I don't mind the trial and error part, just that I just didn't want to bang my head against a brick wall if it is just not possible. Thanks to you I can continue my fiddling process :D BTW, did you download and install the mediaportal plugin for RW from the mediaportal website? I have installed this, however since mediaportal recommends that you disable any ATI software, I'm unsure if this step is required at all :S Also, is it possible for you to mail me your keymap.xml file? That way I can see what mapping you use and configure in a similar manner Yes, that will be cool, I'll give that a try and will certainly update you if I get anything. Although with my slow brain I'm sure you will crack it much before me ;) One way I thought about it was that, perhaps keep the ATI software running all the time, however, keep one one key recognized by the ATI software which then minimizes mediaportal and switches the RW plugin to a more "enriched" plugin. Never tried this so not sure if this possible at all. There is a software called uice which perhaps might help. I did come across this key mapper for ATI RW which might help Thanks again for all the help, much appreciated :thx: Oops after my previous post my page automatically refreshed with posts from famewolf and owlsroost :D I guess what I said in my previous is kind of similar to what famewolf suggested i.e. keep one of the special keys A-F which minimizes MP or do anything else you want. I like the EventGhost idea by owlsroost and I'll certainly give that a try. Do you know if this mechanism works reliably? i.e. is there any lag between the key press and the action actually happening? Really useful stuff, thanks guys :thx: Now where would I be without the forums
