ATI TV Wonder Elite picture quality (1 Viewer)

I am using a ATI TV Wonder Elite and am having some noise/artifact issues watching TV, on MP 2.0, 2.2.0 and SVN versions of 2.2.0 from 1/2/07 to the most current. I'm using a Panasonic HD tube TV connected to the HTPC with a HDMI to DVI-D cable. I know its not the TV signal (analog) coming in beacuse although there is some noise the picture is much more clear and vivid when veiwing regular TV. I have tried about 6 different versions of the drivers. (including the latest 1/10/07) I have tried several different video codecs, including Nvidia, MPV and Dscaler. As well as a number of deinterlacing settings, bob,best and weave. Nothing is affecting the amount of noise/artifacts.... So I did some research on the fourms and the internet and found that the ATI control panel can be installed to control the noise filtering. So, I installed and played with the settings, but it dosen't seem to making a difference. So I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or there is a better solution? Please any one with experience with a Therater 550/650 tuner, what can I do to improve the picture quality? THANX!!

What Video card are ya'll using? I have the same problem with nvidia 6600gt. I've spent the last 3 days, about 20ish hours working on this.

I have a Theatre Pro 650 aswell...

I have a 9500 pro, but this should be FINE for this ! ARRRRRRGG!, Im using media portal for my theater room and the PICTURE QUALITY OF CABLE IS SSHITTTY!
