I've been using the HDHR since early September after Jafa (the HDHR dev) updated the driver so that it would work with MP. Note that these instructions relate to the original MP TV Engine, not the TVServer. This is a nice simple method...No SQL, no additional plugins to install. You do need to edit your capturecarddefinitions.xml file though..

Go here to get the latest driver package for windows. It will update your driver, and also update your firmware if needed:

Check here for additional instructions about your capturecarddefinitions.xml file...

For those of you that idle in the MP IRC chat on freenode, there is also a HDHR related channel on that same server. Just join #hdhomerun. There is great HDHR support there as jafa and whurlston hang out there too.

  • About The Project

The vision of the MediaPortal project is to create a free open source media centre application, which supports all advanced media centre functions, and is accessible to all Windows users.

In reaching this goal we are working every day to make sure our software is one of the best.

  • Support MediaPortal!

The team works very hard to make sure the community is running the best HTPC-software. We give away MediaPortal for free but hosting and software is not for us.
