ATTENTION. RC3 isn t usable becouse basic features aren t working! (1 Viewer)

the topic says it all!

- at resume from standby/hibernation live-tv isn t working anymore! was working fine in rc2!
- if you get the resume from standby with tools like standbyhandler running and you habe a shedule record, it wakes up, record, but you can t stop the recording!!!
if you press stop recording, nothing happens!!!!

all this shouldn t happend in a new version. one must be sure, that at least basic features are working.
otherwise it makes no sense to upgrade. and its also no step forward, its a step back!
think about it.

well then plse expain me why basic features that were working in rc3 are not working in rc2 anymore???????????????

rc2 is also just a release candidate! it can`t be that a further realise candidate lacks of working basic features and its worser then the former version.
its a step back!

thats true, but i am not the only one with this problem!
look at the post from iwen!
atm, i follow the advice from ronilse, and makeing a clean install, loose al my settings for channels and groups and hope that it works then.
i have two satelites! i have some thousend of channels. from all this channels, i have createt grups with the channels i watch. all this was work for a whole day.
now i have the same work again.
so it should be understundable that i am not very lucky...

well, just useing the database of rc2 isn t working. rc3 isn t starting the tvserver then.
a other way to keep the old settings is, to import it as .xml file, into the new rc3.
ronilse isn t sure, if this is the reason for my resume problem, from hibernation.
so i can t use them.
i must make everything! new.
and its not proven if its then working correctly!
all this means much work and be unsure.

so, complete deeinstall of eveything and new install. with new createt channel group.
still the same problem. tv isn t working after resume from hibernation!
it seems that i a was right and it defenitive depend on rc3!
i will post the logs in my other tread, that i can answer ronilse.
so for logs, plse look into the other thread.

i have thought about it all.
this thread is really not very constructive.
it don t matter that i am properly right with my meaning about rc3.
in my case i have the spoken issues.
with mpstandbyhandler an additional tool it seems to work now.
