    Hi!
As far as I know you can't configure this in MP itself. But you can use an Audio codec that has this option. I use AC3filter and the delay works fine there. I guess ffdshow should be able to set a delay, too.

    see you,
    Sepp.

ok, don't know anything about blue ray. What I did for normal mp2 audio that is often used for DVB-S audio is to let ac3filter encode to 5.1, then the delay works again. That was not my favored solution, too. But I couldn't figure out any better way. Maybe this works for WMA or uncompressed HD audio as well. Or someone else has an idea...

    Hi,

I'm also trying to solve this problem. here is what I have found so far
    - using ac3filter as MP's audio codec, decode to PCM and then re-code to DD or DTS, works. You can use the delay option in ac3filter. But its not configurable during watching a programme, you have to set it to what you think you need, and leave it. If most of your delay is the same, it works ok.

    - it looks to me like media portal maybe has a delay option, but for the life of me I can't see how to use it. Click your info button whilst a programme is running, scroll down and you should see a speech bubble. "OK" on that, a display opens to the right with a slider. There is also an "enable" button. Can any of you get this to work? i.e. try to move the slider to the right, select enable, does it delay the audio? Whenever I exit this display, the "enable" button gets deselected for me.

    - for blu-ray. no solution tested yet, only started this last week. "reclock" gets a lot of mention on many forums, going to look at that.

I use ffdshow to delay all the audio on my htpc... I can also get it to delay the audio from blu rays in powerdvd by using the raw decoder and setting it to all supported... I only have a 2.0 setup so I dont know how much it will affects the audio quality but it works perfect for me
