Audio is missing on some recordings (1 Viewer)

I've got a problem on half on my recordings. The audio is missing ?
I've tried to record in ts and mpg format, but its no different.
The audio is fine live within the My TV.

I'm using HP PVR-500 dual analog TV tuner so could it be a problem on one of the tuner ?

Since i don't have the crystal ball could you attach the logs(after you played a rec with missing sound) to your post?

Hi,
From your log i can see that it has some problem with directsound device

FAILED: audio renderer:DirectSound: HDMI Device doesnt exists

Dunno what you have set in the section for that, but try to change it(default directsound or something like that)

I have now made a fresh cleaninstall on a virgin XPSP2 and it is still a problem with missing audio on some recordings.
Its working fine on the Stable MP client software so it must be something related to the RC1.
It happens on both tuners on the HP PVR500.
The audio is also missing when I play it on windows software outside MP.

The attached log from TV is made when I made two manuel recordings short after eachother. The first recording is missing the audio ande the second is OK.

Try to change recording format in TV-Server Configuration to .ts & test.

Okay, now it seems that it is working using the .ts format.
The mpg format was working fine in the stable MP, so something must be different in MP RC1.

Thanks for testing, so now we know it is only when recording to mpeg. I'll do some testing here to see if i'm able to reproduce it.
