Hi.

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate on a Dell Dimension 4700 with an NVidia GeForce 210 card using a DVI to HDMI convertor and Digital Audio connection from a Sound Blaster Live 24-bit sound card to a Toshiba 46RV525R.

I get sound from the PC in Windows 7 and am able to play all movies and videos from Windows Explorer.

But when I launch MediaPortal, I get no sound at all. I don't get the noises the menus make when selecting options nor do I get any sound from movies or TV shows launched from Video's, Moving Pictures, or MP TV-Series. The video works perfectly.

I have done about a dozen searches thru various forums and have not found anyone with this specific problem.

Anyone have any suggestions? I have uninstalled and reinstalled MediaPortal. I removed the app but not the user settings or db. I have restarted my PC and reset K-Lite to it's default settings.

I see your using a SoundBlaster audio card, go into MP Config>Codecs and Renderer and make sure Audio Renderer is set to your sound card.
