When using the nVidia PureVideo Codec (in Video) then Audio is out of sync in myTV. In Video the sync is better but no good
    Testet with all Audio Codecs.
When useing another video codec the sync is ok.

sounds like a codec issue. i am not sure if the devs can do anything against it. i will keep you posted.

Just to be sure ....maybe unusefull...
Did you check 'use hardware acceleration' in the purevideo settings in mediaportal config?
Why don't U use nividia audio decoder that comes with the video decoder?
Do U use ffdshow postprocessing ( try to uncheck if in that case )?
Is it the same if timeshifting disabled ?
I had no out of sync issues when using this decoder, so i guess something in your config slows down the codec so that audio and video can't be sync...
    I don't think it's the Nvidia codec.

    I don't know too ;)

ffdshow is installed, but postprocessing isn't checked. I use ffdshow only for avi's.

When useing 'default DirectSound' as audio renderer I have no problems with the sync.
I the tv options was another audio renderer 'HD Realtek'. I dvd and video 'default DirectSound'. Never test to change this option befor.
When I use another audio renderer audio is out of sync.

It seems it is not a bug. :sorry: for posting here.

Well , that's fine if you could make it work.
The default directsound renderer is the most often the best way for an application to 'talk' to your soundcard, just because when you install the soundcard driver, the directsound default is especially set to use the sc driver directly, with best access time, so that the latency time will be optimal.
The fastest you access to your soundcard, the fastest it will do the job ;) .
That's a simple explaination, but this is nearly how it work.
