Audio Sync Issues (1 Viewer)

Hi Guys

I'm not sure if this one is an issue with moving pictures or mediaportal itself.

I play films and at the start the audio and picture is in sync. but as the film continues the sound gets further and further in front. Its really weird, its a problem with any codec I choose.

When I watch HD TV there is no issue!!! Yes I have already tried the same codecs as the HDTV!!.

Any ideas?

If you aren't using SAF (refer to the codec forums) to handle your codecs I highly recommend doing so. It's hand tailored to make MediaPortal run as smoothly and easily as possible with the least amount of user intervention.

I had same problem when playing 23.976fps movies on a 24htz display. I used ReClock and problem gone.

From ReClock side, it's pretty much install and go, unless you want to use some advanced features like AC3 encoding etc. Best to visit ReClock Forum.

From MP side, you need to choose ReClock as the default audio renderer in video section only.

Try that and see how you go.
