MediaPortal Version: 1.1.0
Windows Version: XP (fully patched)
CPU Type: Athlon II
HDD: Samsung
Memory: 2GB
Motherboard: Asus M4A785
Video Card: (Built in) ATI 4200
Sound Card: (Built in)
MPEG2 Video Codec: ffdshow
MPEG2 Audio Codec: ffdshow
h.264 Video Codec: ffdshow
I'm having problems with audio and video getting out of sync on playback of recorded programs.
Setup is a fresh install of XP and MP 1.1. Using the Stand-Alone Filters codec pack and everything is set to ffdshow.
During playback, the video will get ahead of the audio.
This happens gradually and steadily, after 10-15 minutes it's quite noticeable and 45 minutes it's a good 1/4 second+ out of sync (enough that the person's lips have stopped well before the audio).
Stop and and resume the playback, everything is OK.
Pause does not change it.
Anyone any clues why this should be happening?
Jim
