Terrestial TV displays and works fine
Satellite TV program tuning displays but no picture or sound.--These work fine under own software application.
I have Austar subscription and genuine Austar card. It works properly in Austar box and in PCI card under TT Bda software

Start MediaPortal and go through the steps of trying to display an Austar channel, wait a couple of minutes then shutdown MediaPortal.

Go to your MediaPortal/Logs directory and you will see a bunch of log files. Open the MediaPortal.log file in Notepad, and copy and paste its contents here...

This is new Log file.
I can see no obvious erros here.
However, the station is not displaying vision or sound.
As card 2 (a DVB-T card) works I will log its usage and compare with below to see if I can spot any obvious differences.

This log is using card 1-Austar---no display then changing to DNTlive-ABC--Displays.
I can't see the diiference in the log, but one displays, the other doesn't

I have found the cause of the problem!
Media Portal is in fact working with the Hauppage-Nova-s card.
I have found that the unscrambled shows like Expo and TVSN are displayed correctly.
It is only the shows that are scrambled that will not display.
I have an authentic Austar subscription card that works with the Technotrend BDA software.
Unfortunately Media Portal does not recognize the Austar card.
Would this be difficult to achieve?

Austar not Displaying on TV

MP seems to think it is displaying Austar. It probably isn't routing the PIDs through the CAM. Is this possible and could it be easily fixed?

I have made application by Fax as required by Technotrend.
Do you know if this BDA SDK comes in digital Form?

Tuning Austar on Media Portal-Win TV-s with CI

I noticed this comment in the forum. Does the CI information I obtained from Technotrend allow it to be implemented into Media Portal?
